From the Rector

1 December  2021

Dear Friends

Hope this email finds you well

This Sunday's services follows a normal pattern with Parish Communion in all four Churches and a 3.30pm service online at https://fromesidechurches.org.uk/recorded-services/

On top of this there is a Christingle at St Peters at 4pm

Also see the poster for the Christmas Sale in Iron Acton on Saturday from 2-4pm

See the Messy Church page for details of events in the New Year.

Carols in the Barn on the 12th December is a sell out, however if you would like to join the choir and help us with the singing please let Gill Greef know (01454 774479), services are 3pm and 6pm (refreshments provided between)

Can I also encourage you to support this years 'Comfort and Joy Appeal', as we strive to help vulnerable families in the Fromeside area, enabling God's love to be shared in practical ways this Christmas and throughout 2022.  As a result of your generosity we have been able to help numerous people during 2021; in partnership with our local schools, Bromford Housing and our Community Health Visitors.

Please give if you can to Comfort & Joy: Online at: www.justgiving.com/campaign/comfort-joy or by cheque, payable to “Churches Together in Frampton Cotterell and Coalpit Heath (LEP)”: to ‘Comfort & Joy’, c/o Zion Church Office, Woodend Road, Frampton Cotterell, BS36 2HY.

Next week I will share with you more details of what is on offer on the Fromeside this Christmas, I hope you will agree there's something for everyone

God Bless and Stay Safe

Fr Malcolm
